About Us

Claystone at the Crossing is now Romney Meadows.

With a generally low public perception of the property, new management had their work cut out for them when they purchased Claystone at the Crossing. But through determination and perseverance, the new property, now named Romney Meadows, is starting to become a highly desirable place to live. Romney Meadows is home to over 300 families and features 31 buildings with 326 units, 18 of which are ADA compliant. As an affordable housing community, Romney Meadows is situated perfectly within an abundance of community resources for residents.

Choice is the difference.

It’s not uncommon for people who struggle to afford housing to feel a lost sense of independence. Affordable housing, and Romney Meadows in particular, is an invaluable resource for families in those situations. An affordable place to live offers residents the chance to improve their financial standing and independence without fear of losing their homes, and subsequently, their jobs. The goals at Romney Meadows are to make choice a possibility for low-income families and to make Romney Meadows the affordable housing community of choice in Lafayette, Indiana.

This is my home.

Meet LaTonya Fleming

Romney Meadows has a unique, engaging style of management. The main reason is because of Property Manager LaTonya Fleming. LaTonya is not only the property manager, she is also a resident. She creates a unique relationship with the residents of the property because she has been in their shoes. She was a resident of affordable housing herself for over 11 years.

LaTonya is just one of many residents that has their own story to tell.
